Will I know how much the service or repair will Cost or will I get a big surprise.
Before Mobile Mechanic Commences any work, the mechanic will show you a written estimate of work required with all associated costs - Please be aware some issues are not so easily found for instance, electrical and computer diagnosis can require some extended time to diagnose and there can not be a estimate given for repairs until after the time to diagnosis occurs, these extended times are added to the repair cost if you move forward on the estimate for repairs, if you decide not to have the repairs done the service charge and diagnosis time and or estimate cost will be due. Mobile Mechanic does not guarantee a diagnosis or repair that will result in your vehicles issues to end, service charge and hours to diagnose are always due.
If You the customer are requesting a repair.
This is a repair that you want done and that you have diagnosed and determined is the problem with your vehicle, without our assistance in determining the issue, you the customer will pay the service charge and all required labor and parts in cash prior to mobile mechanic starting any inspection or repairs to your vehicle.
Do you charge for travel time to go and get the parts.
Yes we do, if not local or near considering the hourly rate that we charge the same will be calculated for travel time to and from any parts store at a specified rate per hour.
How can I pay.
Credit or Debit card & Check processing is not guaranteed available, Be prepared to pay cash, Cash Payment needs to be made PRIOR to any inspection or Repair. Service Charge needs to be paid in cash prior to any inspection or repair, credit cards with 3 types of identification, checks with 3 types of identification, app charges a percentage, all checks, credit cards, debit cards need to be processed or cashed or deposited prior to any repair. PRE Approved customers, credit application and credit check required before accepting Credit cards, Debit cards, check payments, return check or stop payment, credit or debit card return or stop payment fee is $5000.00 plus 200% each day Past Due, plus any cost to recover and attorneys fees.
Is there a service charge to come to my location.
Yes everyone is charged a service charge and this charge will vary depending on time and location and it is our option to collect the service charge at your location and must be paid prior to any repair or inspection by cash only, credit or debit payment is not guaranteed available for processing be prepared to pay cash.
What is the warranty on your work.
All our service and labor is fully guaranteed unless otherwise noted or discussed. Labor guarantee is for as long as you own the vehicle. if you are supplying your own parts we will not offer any labor guarantee.
Warranty work will always incur a service charge and labor charge as All parts warranties and guarantees are supplied by and from the manufacturer or store purchased from ONLY not Mobile Mechanic & can vary from 30 days to a lifetime.
Can Mobile Mechanic do all Car Repairs.
No - But we are equipped and ready to perform most car & truck repairs or service on site.
Do you do repairs as well as services.
We have fully equipped mobile workshops and only employ fully qualified and highly trained technicians. Over 95% of all our work is performed on site at your convenience.
Are your technicians qualified.
Mobile Mechanic will only employ fully qualified technicians that have been in the trade for 10 years or more. They also continue their training with internal and external training courses. and we do train some apprentices.
Are your workers contractors or employees.
All Mobile Mechanic Technicians are Employees, not contractors. They operate company vans to meet and provide the highest customer standards.
Do you need to be a member.
No, we are a service and repair company just like any workshop, except we come to you. There are no ongoing membership fees because Mobile mechanic isn't a club - you only pay as you need us.
How soon can a technician come to me.
We can usually organize same or next business day bookings call us to arrange an arrival time. The earlier you call or email us the better.
What are your operating hours.
Our first appointment time varies (depending on workload). Our helpful Contact Center is available 24/ 7 days a week.
Do you work Saturdays & Sundays.
Yes Mobile Mechanic technicians come to you for service or repairs 7 days a week - Monday thru Sunday. Due to the extra costs of
Saturday & Sunday & overtime, There will be a higher labor rate for any job booked on a Fridays, Saturday Sunday & after 12:00 pm. all calls are considered emergency service calls.
Do you work Public Holidays.
Yes and No. We are closed on Christmas and New Years Day, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday. However on other national or local & public holidays we are open with a limited crew. Please email us to confirm our hours of operation, if your need a repair or service on your car or truck. There is a additional surcharge for any job booked in on a public holiday.
Can I supply my own parts.
Yes you can, you would not be entitled to any labor guarantees.
when you make a appointment with Mobile Mechanic, you are responsible for any charges / service charge, you have 30 minutes from the time the appointment was made too cancel the appointment after the 30 minutes you will then be charged $100.00 cancellation fee.
